I finished the basic brick and block course at Ivy Tech in 2000. I then took a masonry restoration and stone masonry course at the International Masonry Institute in Maryland. I use the proper restoration methods to ensure a quality finished product.

Sam did a great job of explaining his process and keeping us informed about his work schedule. He took great pride in making sure the masonry work matched the existing Bedford stone. Nice to see someone who actually takes pride in his work.

Sam is just an honest stone mason that knows his craft. I was very comfortable working with him. It took a little bit to order and get the right piece for the job but dealing with him made my parents and me feel reassured that the job will be done in the right manner. I would use Sam again with out a second thought! I think the lime stone chimney crown looks great and as suggested by Sam will last a life time. He stands by his word and workmanship. If you need a mason that treats you professionally with great mannerism and detailed masonry this is the one person you want to hire!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are usually not the lowest bid. I stand behind my work 100%, and am not done until you are completely satisfied!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give a free inspection and estimate. I will come by and do my inspection. Once the inspection is complete I will call, email, or if you are there tell you what I have seen. I will propose a labor and material price, and explain how we will perform the task.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started as a laborer in international laborers union. I began doing masonry restoration and joined the bricklayers union. I took advantage of all school and training they had to offer. I was fortunate enough to work with some very knowledgeable Masons.
