3rd generation piano technician and rebuilder. I have been working on pianos professionally for over 20 years . My customers include 3 major universities and a large portion of their piano faculty.
3 performing arts centers, several Nashville and national recording artists. I specialize in steinway restorations, player piano installation, player repairs, and concert preparation. I offer moving and sales as well.
My tunings take a little more time than your average "tune up". I focus on stabilizing the piano using several methods, not short cuts. My tunings tend to last longer than average.
We use specialized equipment in the moving process. We do not use the pedals to put a grand piano on its side. We use steel boards and dollies for stability and safety. Our "red carpet treatment" is to protect flooring. Ask about our "move and tune discount"

Last Saturday we performed at the piano shop "Dusenbury & Sons" in Elizabeth Town. It is an amazing place for piano lovers, full of different types, colors, sizes and brands! I even had a chance to try a piano which was made of plexiglass. Everyone was amazed by the piano action that you could see while I was playing on it. The two pianos that I liked the most were "Kawai" and "Steinway & Sons". The sound was extremely deep and various. I could find many shades of "piano" and "forte" on these professional instruments. Every note was a great adventure for my ears, every move was a pleasure for my figures! I strongly recommend you to visit this store and find your own pianomate! Make yourself "A Little Piano Christmas"!

I recently had my late mom's piano serviced by Dusenbury & Sons. They did a fabulous jod and I was more than pleased. It look like the piano was totally refurbished I was so impressed I sent photos of the piano to my sister. She asked "who fixed the piano to make it look like that". A friendly knowledgeable staff with a great selection of instruments.We fell in love with a Kawai Baby Grand and in a couple of days, it was in our home. The piano was delivered by a professional crew who were quick and efficient and we felt very comfortable having them in our home. Our piano was gently used and it had a few nicks and dingswhich we were totally Ok with. The piano arrived with all the nicks and dings repaired...it looks and sounds amazing. I have to force myself to quit playing and go to bed at nightits that kind of instrument. Elizabethtown is very fortunate to have such a shop and a detail oriented piano technician.
