I'm really pleased with my project. I started the painting myself, and had pretty much made a mess of things before Thumbtack put Mike's Exceptional Remodel and Carpentry in position for the rescue. I got a beautiful result based on no more than a picture of a built-in window seat bookcase found on a website. Mike and his team worked around keeping the work site safe for my two very inquisitive dogs, and working around my schedule. I'm looking forward to our next project and would recommend them to friends and family.

Had several paint matching issues, they resolved these, painted kitchen, and did several dry wall patches. In the bath needed vanity installed, dry wall repaired and textured. Installed new light fixture, and faucet. All of these things were completed expertly and quickly. I will hire them for my next project.

Mike and his team (joined by his wife and son) arrived on schedule, reviewed the project and came up with a solid plan. He thereafter gathered materials and built "from scratch" a magnificent door and frame to cover a utility area which previously was blocked violated local codes. You would never know that door wasn't there--beautiful job, flawless in appearance.

Mike did a great job. He was professional in advising us that he would not be able to perform the scope of work we originally requested. After getting to know more about his expertise, I had other work he was able to complete. He was able to adapt to working on a long distance communication requirement and did a wonderful job. Looks fantastic. I highly recommend him.
