FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All quoted prices are for the complete attorney fee. Every new client gets a free, completely confidential consultation, with no obligation to hire our firm. Expenses are charged separately from fees, and vary by case. Fees for Kentucky Workers Compensation and for Social Security Disability are set by law, so beware of law firms that vary their fees in these areas. The better comparison is on quality rather than on price in those areas.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Every new client gets a free, completely confidential consultation, with no obligation to hire our firm. At the consultation, we'll listen to your story, figure out the best path forward for you, and go over the details of representation, including any documents you'd sign if you want to hire us.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our attorneys have Juris Doctorates in the practice of law. Each attorney is also required to obtain a minimum of 25 continuing legal education credits each year in their field. No attorney is permitted to handle more than two practice areas so they maintain their expertise, although many other firms allow attorneys to handle up to six or seven practice areas - far too many!
