Introduction: I always treat the process of planning as if it were for myself, a dear friend, or a family member. I take pride in all aspects of my work and want to make sure that you are not only happy, but thrilled with my services. If it's for an anniversary, wedding, engagement dinner or any celebration, I am confident that I will be able to make your vision a reality, right before your eyes. My work is tailored to your specific requests, while still being unique. I design with an artist's eye and enjoy experimenting with texture, color and styling. I love to utilize unusual flowers and materials, as well as the more classic elements. I will be there day or night, anytime, for any reason if you need something pertaining to your occasion. Whether the cake got lost in traffic on it's way to the reception or perhaps the flowers have all wilted or you can't find the perfect pair of earrings. Seeing how happy all of the parties are when they see the finished product. There is no feeling like having someone tell you that "This is exactly what I had imagined." I am always humbled at hearing that, but I'm just happy to be able to provide a quality experience for your special occasion. There will be some things through life that you will forget, but a day of celebration will have lots of memories and just as many, if not more pictures to go with them. I want to be certain that what is captured in photographs is exactly the way that you want to remember that special day. I enjoy every aspect of working on a project, start to finish. I love collaborating on an idea and making sure it comes to fruition just right for the occasion.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To either meet with them in person or speak with them on the phone, so that I can get a more clear sense of their needs. I do a complete consult and lay out the details with them. It is difficult to get inflection and tone from text.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I always check up on trends and techniques via several chat rooms, news groups, etc. I attend training courses, certification classes, bridal shows, public gardens, etc. I am always continuing my education by doing research and keeping in contact with other planners and florists.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved flowers and crafting. I came across an ad that was in the paper for a local company that was seeking to hire a florist. I applied because I thought it would allow me to express my creative talents, and be relaxing and fun. I love my job!
