What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Art Work is so 'Essential' in the Ordering of Signs ,, for ANY Company You go with. Just like ordering Business cards, If ya don't have Your 'Art Work' ... IN HAND. That 'cost' just went up. We here at Southgate Sign & Graphics , We work with Ours Customers on ANY Projects they may have. Including in there Design Stage.

36 Years in ALL the Sign Making field.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
Every Job is so different ,, some with a digital logo, and print ,, Others just Black & White text. So we like to 'see' the Job .. Then price accordingly. We have found 'others' whom price "standardly" ,, seams to be higher cost at the end of a bid &/or Job.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was 14 Yr. old ,, instead of a allowance ,, I went to work, for the "LOVE" of this Industry, been doing this work for the next 36 years. Everyday.
What types of customers have you worked with?
P & G ,, All the way down to a 'mom & pop' stores. Industrial, Commercial, & Small Business's. A single set of Magnetic Signs, to the first logo, (Coming soon Banners) then there Main Lighted Sign.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Custom cut glass, with digitally printed "Frosted 3M Vinyl" on the cut glass. This really looks nice.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure the one making your signs has more than just a vinyl cutter and can cut a few letters ... There is SO MUCH more to making signs .....
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Who is responsible for "generating" the 'art work' for that project. !!! With this MORDERN AGE, of Printers & Digital Printer Plotters ,, almost Anyone can "print" a job, It's who's doing the 'Art Work' ,,, And what kind of Material is being Used.
