FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is straight forward with no hidden fees. Rates are quoted per bartender and are based on bar supplies (cases of liquor or beer, mixers, glassware, ice, etc.) already being located near the bar area upon arrival. If the bartender(s) relocate the alcohol and other supplies into the bar area from where they are stored, a $50 moving fee is added to the price. A minimum of one bartender is required for every 75-100 people utilizing the bar's services. Events can be priced by the hour or for a flat fee depending on their duration, the amount of setup required and the number of guests.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am S.T.A.R. Certified to bartend by the Kentucky Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (A.B.C.). I am T.I.P.S. & ServSafe trained. I have lots of on-the-job training from hotels, caterers, banquet halls, distillery reps and fellow bartenders.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started bartending in college when I was a Little Sister in a fraternity. They had us serving all kinds of stuff for themed rush parties. I had so much fun doing it that I've continued to bartend events ever since. Even after having a full-time career, I continue to bartend events on the side.
