FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is really subject to the size of the area that needs to be painted along with any difficulties trying to get to it for example it would cost more if I need to climb a 24-foot ladder or rent a JLG lift to get to a location to paint it, verses your average home with an 8 to 10 foot ceiling that can be painted off of a 6-foot ladder.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would much prefer to view a location before giving a quote. However I do the best that I can to give an accurate quote based on the information provided. The typical service starts out with a quote and contact, followed by discussing the type of paint and color to be used. Typically I have the customer purchase the paint using my contractor's discount. At which point work can begin by prepping the areas to be coated, fixing any minor imperfections in the walls, painting the first coat, sanding in between coats, been completing the final coat.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did go to college for graphic design and learned a lot about art and decorating and marketing. However the years of on-the-job experience both commercial-industrial and residential are what make my services a success.
