Introduction

I am just starting out. I helped create and maintain multiple gardens with my grandparents. I became the expert in creating deeply dug edges that last at least 2 years before having to be redone. I have gone to help create a unique garden in a garden home, assisting with the building of a waterfall and koi pond. I love being outside and being able to see what I have helped create.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I currently am enrolled in EKU studying for a history degree. I will get married in October 2014. If my love of being outdoors and gardening increases, I will then try to hire on with a landscaping business and take courses then.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I like working outdoors and I love seeing the fruits of my labor.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mow lawns, edge gardens, prepare new gardens, build stone walls, paint fences, put down very basic pathways, plant trees, shrubs, perennials, and annuals. I can remove shrubs and small trees. I can divide plants such as hosts. I am learning about how to maintain small ponds.
