FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in the roofing business as a laborer for my father when I was about 16. After college I became a Homebuilder & General Contractor. During a slow period around 2007 my Roofing sub-contractor became extremely slow. I hired the entire crew and we began to build the roofing business together ..& the rest is history!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get references. Check how long the company has been in business IN YOUR AREA! We have lost jobs in the past to companies that offer "Lifetime Warranties", that are no where to be found when the warranty is needed.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
To do a proper roofing job is not as simple as it may seem. Roofing is not rocket science, but you should put more thought into hiring someone than just the price. It amazes me that customers will hire the best cabinet maker or painter, but put very little thought into the contractor that will install the roof that protects everything else inside????
