Hello! I’m a former high school math teacher with 14 years of classroom experience, now tutoring full-time from home. I specialize in helping students build confidence, improve understanding, and succeed in math.
All sessions are held online via Zoom and are highly interactive and personalized, designed to feel just like in-person tutoring. I work with students in Pre-Algebra through AP Calculus AB, breaking down concepts clearly and explaining them in multiple ways until they truly click. Mandy has been tutoring my son over the past 2024/2025 academic school year for his UT on Ramp Math class. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer remote tutoring only and charge $60/hr. I have a discounted rate of $45/hr for sessions before 7 pm Eastern Time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I am mostly looking to tutor remotely, but if you live close we can work out other arrangements.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's teaching degree in Math Education from BYU. I taught math in 3 different high schools for a total of 14 years.
