Not too good. We agreed on a price, then he asked me for additional $1000 because it was more work than he expected. reluctantly agreed to it. Thenn he claimed to finish the job and asked for a final payment. There were several issues (unpatched hole, trim not painted, closet shelves not reinstalled), paint marks on the floor and counters, unpainted closet doors. When those were pointed out he clamed to address them but after a second inspection most of the issues remained. I kept $300 from the final payment. Now he wants this money paid before finishing his work and is threathening me with a lawyer. I would love to talk to his lawyer.
