I honestly don’t know where to begin. I needed a photographer very last minute. My daughter’s boyfriend was proposing to her in less than 48 hours. I reached out to several different photographers but Fremin’s was first to respond. It was a pleasant experience from the first message. He immediately put my mind at ease and I knew he had this handled and would capture this precious moment for me beautifully. Booking was quick and simple! I put him in touch with Aaron (my daughter’s now fiancé 😍) then they coordinated the rest. The FaceTime call I had with my daughter and Aaron was absolutely priceless and I even got to meet CJ during the call. One of the first things she said to me was the photographer is awesome mom, thank you. Awesome is an understatement. CJ, thank you from the bottom of my heart for capturing

I strongly recommend Firmin's Photos for any of your photography needs. He responded promptly to my inquiry, was friendly, professional, and helpful. Leading up to our shoot, he maintained proactive communication and promptly responded to any of my questions. Getting two toddlers to sit for photos at the end of a day is a chaotic endeavor. CJ was the best photographer I could ask for. He helped plan out my proposal and it came out just as we planned. He was extremely flexible with my schedule and even went as far as to move a few of his own work commitments to accommodate me in his schedule. CJ went above and beyond with ideas, props, and scouted out the location the day before the shoot. He truly cared about how the proposal and pictures turned out. CJ is kind, professional and easy to work with. I am so happy with how our photos turned out – it was the perfect mix of posed, candid and detailed shots of my daughter’s baptism and the celebration afterwards. We were a large group of 35 with 9 children. CJ consulted with me before the event to ensure that he got all of the pictures I envisioned and showed me some previews on his camera’s viewfinder during the event to make sure I was happy with how they were turning out. The photos were taken in challenging yellow fluorescent church lighting but you would never know it from the beautiful clear and bright final edited images. I can’t wait to frame these! I highly recommend booking Firmin’s Photos for any event. We got all of the beautiful keepsake photos I wanted, but did not have to worry about taking them ourselves. CJ, your personality is perfect for events! Our family and friends enjoyed meeting you, you made everyone comfortable and it shows in the pictures.

I have nothing but great things to say! This surprise engagement was last minute and Firmin worked with me to get it done. There was so many curve balls thrown at us but he rolled with every change. The experience was super professional and very genuine. He answered all of our questions and even had ideas of his own that we loved. My fiancée was so surprised she did not see anything coming. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a traveling fee for distances over 50 miles.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically start off by getting some basic info from a client. (e.g. What they are looking for from the photos, any ideas or inspirations of locations, if they have a special mile marker coming up) Also, I have a short questionnaire that I send to my clients, which helps me learn a little more. It’s a great way to get to know each other and has proven to spark come creative ideas!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently passed my Certified Professional Photographer exam! Also, I love watching videos and reading about any new ideas for photography. I’m a sucker for practicing something a lot until I learn it. The most random things have been used at home to practice with!
