Absolutely enjoyed working with CJ! He took the time to listen to what I was hoping to get out of our session and truly went above and beyond! He walked all around Jackson square and the French quarters to get all the perfect shots! I couldn’t be happier! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a professional and creative photographer! CJ was wonderful to work with! My fiancé and I could not be happier with how our engagement photos came out! We could not wait to show our family and friends. Extremely professional and very easy to work with. It was a surprise engagement photoshoot and CJ knew exactly what to do to make everything go smoothly and organically. He arrived early at the location to set up and get the perfect shots with the morning light. We were also not from the area and CJ gave us great places to visit while in town. CJ, was so quick to respond and was able to drastically change his schedule when I moved out elopement up 8 hours. He was given a difficult task of shooting our elopement at 10am and it was 91 degrees and not a cloud in sight. He was easy to work with and kept us involved in the photos and how they were turning out. The pictures speak for themselves! We plan on booking with him next year for an anniversary shoot! We highly recommend him.

Working with CJ was the absolute best decision I could’ve made for my proposal + engagement shoot! Our plans changed last minute and CJ was still so helpful despite the short notice. Now the actual pictures… AMAZING. Absolutely stunning and I’ll attach pictures and let his work speak for itself, but I loooove everything we got back from CJ.
Beyond all of that, CJ was just a great person to work with and share this special moment with. His communication was great and really helped with nailing down the exact spot / time of the proposal. It also was a little chilly so he even brought hand warmers for us - he truly went above and beyond in every aspect of this shoot and I am just so grateful that we worked with CJ for this. It was a great experience day of, and we were left with pics that we will cherish forever. If you ever need someone for a proposal / engagement shoot or really anything else, CJ has to be your guy.

We hired CJ to do a photo shoot turned to surprise engagement pictures. CJ listened to how I wanted it to go to surprise my now fiancé. He showed us the pictures he took along the way to make sure they were what we wanted. We are VERY happy with our decision to hire CJ to do our pictures!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a traveling fee for distances over 50 miles.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically start off by getting some basic info from a client. (e.g. What they are looking for from the photos, any ideas or inspirations of locations, if they have a special mile marker coming up) Also, I have a short questionnaire that I send to my clients, which helps me learn a little more. It’s a great way to get to know each other and has proven to spark come creative ideas!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I recently passed my Certified Professional Photographer exam! Also, I love watching videos and reading about any new ideas for photography. I’m a sucker for practicing something a lot until I learn it. The most random things have been used at home to practice with!
