As a licensed interior designer for 20 years, I shifted over to producing & designing drawings for renovations, additions and custom home residents. This change in design was brought on after working closely with architects for a number of years which opened the gates to a vast knowledge of architectural design, codes, handicap accessibility and coordination of CAD drawings & scheduling.
I was initially a student of art and received a Bachelor of Art Degree before my years of Interior Design. These skills and passions lead me to a crossroads where I broke away from the corporate world and combined my design experiences with my artistic skills and started Artisan Interior Designs.
Each project is different.... no matter how large or small, meets its own new challenges. It is the client that makes each project unique and never boring!!

I was putting my house up for sale and hired Diane to stage my house using my furniture. She rearranged my furniture, added decor, and added a few pieces of furniture of her own. Her eye for color and furniture grouping gave my home a polished look for the pictures. I rented her furniture and decor while my home was on the market so it would continue to match the pictures. Her furniture rental fee was more than reasonable. The house sold in a month. I would definitely recommend her for home staging, and for interior design.

Diane has been a great designer for my new home. She has gone far beyond what would normally be expected. I live in a flood plan and she has driven to my place even when water was on the road. She took the time to really listen to what I wanted and came through brilliantly. I would hire her again and definitely would recommend her services to my friends. Excellent, excellent services.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out graduating with an Art degree and wanted to continue in a career that involved design so I went back to school and received an associate degree of Interior Design.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Mostly Residential Clients...I have a background in Healthcare Design & Codes and will provide design services to convert existing residence into wheelchair accessibility for aging or life-changing conditions.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Credentials are important with a strong profile and interviews, it is important that the designer fits the client and understands the clients' wants and needs.
