ABSOLUTELY AVOID AT ALL COSTS
By far the worst handymen I’ve ever worked with. Hired them to replace two bathroom vents ahead of an upcoming appraisal which should have been simple enough. The vents they installed were very wobbly and a lawsuit waiting to happen since left as they were, they would have inevitably fallen on someone. You could tap them and they’d shake. Not to mention there were huge gaps between the vents and ceiling which they originally did not plan to even attempt to fill. My kitchen, living room, and dining room ceilings were all damaged in the process due to their negligence when they entered the crawlspace. I called them back to fix their many, MANY mistakes and was asked out by the employee who butchered the installation. After being rejected, he asked for gas money to come out for a second appointment to finish the job then never showed. Had to reschedule for a third appointment which left an even bigger mess than the first one and pushed me past the deadline of my upcoming appraisal. Instead of properly filling the holes they used cheap yellow foam which got all over my brand-new vents, the ceiling, and the freshly painted walls somehow. They left me sandpaper to sand down the mountains of excess foam MYSELF, which obviously didn’t work out because it's foam with nothing behind it. I don’t see what I’ve hired them for if I have to finish their job!? Their patchy attempt to repair the ceilings caused by going in the crawlspace looked even worse than the original crack across the ceiling. Considering all this and only after getting my lawyer involved, the owner, Thomas, agreed to give me a partial refund which I never received. It’s been about two months and he is still dodging my calls. I should have stuck with my usual contractor, but he had no availability before my appraisal. There were so many red flags I wish I’d paid attention to including their unusual availability when every other handyman/contractor is booked up, them asking how much my contractor quoted for the project then doing me the favor of “matching his price”, and the very extreme reviews that are either very high on simple jobs or very low for everything else. Dirt Cheap QUALITY at the same price as quality professionals. You’d come out better hiring ANYONE else.
