Introduction: Maid to Clean 2000... where clean is an obssesive passion. I come to you with over 12 years of experience in cleaning homes and professional offices. I worked for one of the well-known cleaning services for 5 years as a supervisor, then decided to go into business for myself. I understand what it is like to not have the time or energy to do as little as spruce up or as much as spring clean. Family and social time is something that is very important in life, especially when you work all day. No job is too small or too big. I work from top to bottom and left to right, completing one room at a time, the way it should be done. Our services for general house cleaning include the following: - Removing any cobwebs on the ceiling, walls or fixtures (using either a vacuum or broom) - Cleaning light fixtures and ceiling fans - Wiping down any wall hangings and window ledges - Dusting all furniture and underneath items - Cleaning any decorative items (with appropriate cleaners) - Cleaning leather furniture (using leather cleaner or simply Armour oil) - Wiping down electronics (with appropriate cleaner) - Making sure any decorative items is free from dust - Wiping off all baseboards - Sweeping/mopping or vacuuming floors - Cleaning all switch plate covers and the area around them - Making beds or changing linens (I can clean bed linen, washing/drying them while cleaning) - Cleaning all bathroom fixtures (using appropriate cleaner and using a pumice stone to get lines out of toilet bowls) - Removing all soap buildup in the shower or tub and putting oil on shower doors to stop future buildups - Cleaning exterior of kitchen appliances (with appropriate cleaners) - Cleaning interior of kitchen appliances (with appropriate cleaners). If you want me to clean out the inside of your refrigerator, you can leave me a small note telling me what to dispose of. I will automatically throw out anything that is past its expire date. - Removing all trash to outdoor receptacle and placing new bags in indoor receptacles - Vacuuming any indoor furniture needed, removing cushions, and vacuuming - Any small room rugs will be either washed or vacuumed - Curtains can be vacuumed at your request (provided your vacuum has the proper attachment) - Cabinet doors will be cleaned - All doors will be wiped down - Cleaning the exterior of the a/c vent - Cleaning any dirty dishes and loading/emptying the dishwasher This service is done for a flat rate in which I calculate according to your home. Therefore, I must visit the place to be generally cleaned to determine the rate. This can be done weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Spring cleaning is more detailed and in depth. In addition to everything above, the following are also done: - Furniture that can be easily moved will be cleaned - Cleaning of walls - Cleaning of windows indoors - Cleaning of mini blinds - Carpet cleaning - If you can get large appliances moved, cleaning underneath and around can be done - Large area rugs can be moved and cleaned underneath This service is done for a flat rate, but may have to be done over a few days, rather than just one day. Therefore, I must visit the place in which the spring cleaning will be done to determine the rate. I recommend a spring cleaning to be done once every 4 to 6 months. Moving out/moving in/new home We can do a thorough cleaning on a home you are moving out of. If you were renting and want your deposit back, or you are listing the home with a Realtor and want it to sparkle for potential buyers, (see below for details) we can prepare your newly built or new home for you to move into it with a thorough cleaning job which includes: - Removing cobwebs - Cleaning walls - Cleaning baseboards - Cleaning light fixtures, ceiling fans, and air vents covers - Cleaning bathrooms (including fixtures) - Cleaning any appliances -- interior and exterior - Cleaning inside of cabinets and place non-skid mats (shelf matting) - Sweeping/mopping or vacuuming floors - Carpet cleaning - Cleaning kitchen fixtures - Cleaning windowsills and interior of windows - Disposing of trash, if any This service is done for a flat rate. Therefore, I must visit the place(s) to be done to determine the rate. Packing to move/unpacking to settle in This service is provided to those who will need someone to pack up their home or office because they are moving. You must supply all the boxes, wrapping paper, bubble wrap, cling wrap, and packing tape. I can pack up anything that needs to be boxed or wrapped. I do not move heavy furniture or loaded boxes; I simply organize and pack your items. Organization: - Closets - Cabinets - Drawers - Areas This can be done on an as needed basis. This is done for a flat rate. Therefore, I must visit the place that will need to be organized. Having a special occasion and need a sprucing up, setting up or cleaning up after the event? This can be done for a flat rate. Therefore, a meeting with the host(s) where the event will be held is required. I also can prepare meals to freeze or fresh. I can also cater for small get-togethers or parties, family reunions, small receptions, funerals, companies lunches, etc. Invited to a dinner and need to bring a dish, but working and do not have the time? I can do that, too.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

    I do a lot of general cleanings in which customers choose to do weekly and bi-weekly. Many of these customers have me do their laundry as well and some even require me to cook meals. I do several movein/outs per month also and many of them have me pack up their cabinets and such.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Do not be taken in by all these large maid services. Their employee turn over rate is high and the things they do in your home when they are alone would astound you. Find someone who can be more personalized for you and your home, someone who has a long, professional history in the industry. Ask them to provide you with a flat rate for general, spring and movein/out services, if they insist on hourly they are more than likely to stretch the time out over longer periods to make more hourly. I prefer to quote you a flat rate that way there are no surprises for you.
