About this pro

How does your business stand out?

I'm the only guide here who uses light tackle and Fly fishing gear to sight fish for Redfish in shallow water.

What do you enjoy about the work you do?

Teaching people how to read the water and how spot the tell tail signs of game fish in the area. And mostly, that there is more to fishing than just dropping a bait it the water!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I was taking a couple of guys Fly fishing for Redfish and after hearing them talking about a recent trip they had all taken to Mongolia I asked so, did you catch many. All replied, not many. (They couldn't cast a Fly rod to save their lives) So, I proceeded to kindly teach them some proper casting techniques and by the end of the day they had all caught more Redfish each than they all had caught together in Mongolia. They all were very appreciative and thanked me for making their trip a success. That made my day...!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take notice of a charter guides level of experience, knowledge, length of time working in the industry, reputation and sponsors. What kind of boat and equipment they provide. What type of fishing do they specialize in and what kind of fish do they catch during the time of year you'll be fishing. Ask questions,... I'll be glad to answer any questions you may have or accommodate you any way I can.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That it's not a easy as I make it look. It took a lot of years to learn to be this stubborn!
