About
My ability to put clients at ease is apparent in the images I capture. As your photographer, it's my job to make sure you feel relaxed and comfortable. Getting to know my clients and offering suggestions & guidance during the shoot guarantees that I have a perfect mixture of composed images along with unexpected candid shots. My favorite thing about my job is being able to capture my clients personalities and family stories. Whether it's snapping your child's genuine smile (instead of the forced "Say Cheese" grimace) or sneaking shots of your reticent husband when he finally grins-I love when I'm able to make a client open up to the camera.

Maryanne was such a wonderful photographer. We made her wait for such a long time (I am so sorry Maryanne!) and she was so patient and going with the flow. We wanted family pictures, including some engagement shots, individual shots, as well as including our dog. Her props were so much fun and she was more than prepared. I can't wait to see the pictures. Thank you :-)

Maryanne came up to my house to take pictures for my little gals first birthday. She showed up and was great with my little gal. She brought a few backdrops and props for the shoot. She worked great with my little wiggle worm and the photos are beyond wonderful! If I ever need photography again I will definitely call her and I highly recommend her!

Maryanne did an AMAZING job with my daughter's first birthday pictures. She was extremely prompt and informative with her consultation and made herself easily available to contact. She was conversational and kept the session light and fun, which helped us to relax and take great pictures. I would highly recommend her for a photo session and will definitely utilize her services in the future.

Maryanne was awesome. I am known to be a lady of many questions and it seemed with each question I had she was more understanding than irritated. I had alot if different ideas and she gave more. It never seemed as if she was annoyed or bothered by my many different calls to ask or do even last minute things. On the day of the shoot. Things only got better. She was so nice.. So friendly. She made my cousin feel like age was the prettiest pregnant lady in the world.. Whatever shot she wanted her to do she went as far as testing it out to make sure it was safe. I would recommend her to everyone I know.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a strong commitment to constantly learning & improving my skill set so that I can better serve my clients. Owning my business allows me the flexibility to attend workshops and seminars several times throughout the year and complete 60 hours of training & continuing education every quarter.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The one thing that I wish I could tell customers who are considering purchasing a photography session is: "Don't Wait." Too often, I have clients that are waiting for the "perfect moment" to have family portraits taken. In the fantasy, "someday" happens at the same time as a magical convergence of the following events: 1) Your husband doesn't ask YOU where his blue shirt is (spoiler: it's directly in front of him, hanging in the closet). 2) It doesn't take 30 minutes to walk 15 feet out the front door with a toddler. 3) You lost five pounds overnight by eating a "dessert inspired" fruit salad for dinner (aka a big glass of wine & some chocolate). 3a) Also, your closet is now filled with every outfit you've coveted on Pinterest. 3b)Plus, a wall of shoes that Carrie Bradshaw would kill for. 4) Your personal assistant has run all your errands, cleaned the house, and took your pet Unicorn out for a walk. Although I CAN'T make any of the above come true, I can provide gorgeous, authentic images that *perfectly* capture this time in your life.
