Introduction: We teach traditional southern cuisine in our "built to entertain" kitchen. We have a very safe comfortable kitchen set up to teach how prep and prepare authentic southern dishes. There are some set menus but we also will teach whatever it is that you would like to learn.. We are very flexible on the menu. Peter has cooked in kitchens all over the country, and is a master at the grill and boiling pot. Melanie has been winning cooking contests since she was 8 years old. Entertaining is our passion, and it shows in our food. We use as little processed foods as possible. The fresher the better! We get to eat what we cook and teach! It's so much fun, like having a dinner party with new exciting people who have a passion or just a want to know how to prepare awesome meals. We love the smile and memories good food brings!

FOOD WAS EXCEPTIONAL! ALSO, VERY PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CATERER TO ANYONE. EVERYONE WAS PRAISING THE TASTE AND SERVICE THAT THIS COMPANY PROVIDED. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT.

I hired House of Never a Bad Meal for my anniversary. We are from Texas and we wanted a New Orleans experience. They went above and beyond! They were a joy to have, they listened to us, and shared little pieces of themselves. Their passion for food really shined through. My husband and I thought that we were leaving after we ate but we were so satisfied that we stayed in. We will never forget the amazing food they provided for us and the thoughtfulness that they put into it. We will definitely look at other opportunities to hire them again. Amazingly delicious is an understatement!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We can accommodate almost any budget depending on the menu choices. We like to customize every menu to the event, availability of the freshest ingredients, and what the feel of the event the customer wants.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss what type of food they would like to learn, number of people attending and the time available. We like to get personal and detailed so that we can provide people with a great experience.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We both have many years in the restaurant industry. Melanie has made it to the final auditions for Master Chef, yes the show on tv., and has been cooking for crowds for twenty plus years, Peter was an executive chef for a non-profit here in New Orleans. In the recent past he also was a lead chef for a resort in Wyoming.
