I recently sent 65 video cassettes and one audio cassette to be digitalized Digital Heirlooms NOLA. At first I was nervous about sending my precious memories through the mail, but they gave me great instructions, and kept in touch with me every step of the way, and let me know when they received the package. In fact. I got updates every few days. Within a few weeks, I received a package with my tapes as well as their digitalized versions on flash drives. The quality of their work is fantastic. Now I have digitalized videos for my kids to remember their early days and to remember how very much they are loved! What a beautiful gift! I am so gratefu! If you have been thinking of digitalizing your memories, look no further! This business is top notch!!!

I was very pleased with the results of my transfers. I had many sports events that the picture quality was better than I had anticipated. I also had home movies transferred & I am very pleased with the quality as well. The timing was great where I received my transfer within 3 days even though I was given 1 week. I have more tapes that I plan to have transferred by Digital Heirlooms Nola as well.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing this work to preserve my own family’s tapes. With my background in video and film software, I was able to use my existing skills to convert and enhance old footage. Now, I help others bring their memories back to life in high-quality digital formats.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One project I’m especially proud of involved digitizing 37 VHS tapes and 11 VHS-C tapes for a client filled with cherished family memories. We carefully transferred each tape to digital format, enhancing the quality where possible so every memory was preserved beautifully. The project took about 1 week, and seeing the client’s excitement when they could finally watch decades of memories on modern devices made it incredibly rewarding.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a provider who cares about your memories and has the technical skills to preserve them. Check their experience, equipment, and software, and ask about turnaround times and enhancement options to make sure your footage is in good hands.
