Through my agency, I've partnered with SMWPLC on a number of projects over the years. Sheila's professionalism, tireless work ethic, and warm personality made her a joy to work with, and I would recommend her and the firm in a heartbeat.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Costs for services are usually on a case-by-case basis, since everyone is different. I charge by the hour, by a flat fee, by an advanced deposit and by retainer. Most clients pay by the hour, although some products, if not tweaking too much, can be flat fee. We may need to consult prior to finalizing the amount quoted, since your particular needs may need more (or less) attention. I also take credit cards, for your convenience.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When working with a new client, I think of that client as a partner in success. Clearly you've reached out to me for a reason. I want to make sure that I fully understand what you need, so I always schedule a consultation meeting. That meeting might be in person, on the phone or even over Skype. Then, once we are on the same page and decide to work together, then I send a contract/agreement so that everything is spelled out. After that, we move forward according to the items we've prioritized together, and work towards a final goal together - as partners.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I teach Contemporary Business Law, International and European Law, EU Competition Law, International Human Rights, Marketing, Time Management, Google Apps for Businesses and Education, Ethics and Social Responsibility, Human Resource Risk Management, Critical Thinking and Creative Problem Solving, Business Law for Consultants and Employment Law. I am also approved to teach Essentials of Psychology, Psychology of Personality, State and Local Political Processes and Criminal Justice courses in theory, mental health, crisis intervention and case management services. In addition to keeping up with the latest trends on the above, I am also required to complete 20 hours of continuing ed each year for my social work license, and 12.5 hours for my attorney license. I often go above and beyond the requirements. In 2013, I completed 81 continuing ed hours for law, and in 2014, I completed 49.25! I take education very seriously and am a life-long learner.
