- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It depends. With zero details, all I can do to standardize a price is to average out that type of work. This will overcharge some people and undercharge others, which is fair to no one.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually, we talk on the phone first about what needs to be done and get a feel for each other. Then a site visit with the client so we can see what needs to be done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2 years as an apprentice, 3 years at journey level, 1 year at master level. My experience is about half residential and half commercial. I passed every test and certification on the first attempt with time to spare.
