We purchased a lot in Gentilly that had many years of neglect and 5' high vegetation that had to be removed. Smith’s Tree Services and Remodeling was chosen to clear the lot and we could not have made a better choice. They arrived to do the work on the day they committed. When more than 40 telephone poles were found on the lot under the vegetation Smith’s Tree Services took care of them all and even removed a large tree stump we didn’t know was there. Joseph was quick to communicate regarding the job both via telephone calls and texts. We are thoroughly pleased with the results and the job was done for a great price. Thanks Joseph it was a tough job well done!!

I found Joseph Smith on Thumbtack and hired him to fence in the foundation of my son's and daughter in law's house so their 2 big dogs could be left in the yard without worry. Joseph was prompt, went out for the materials, and finished the project the same day.

Mr. Smith was extremely professional, and easy to work with. When the job was finished, he cleaned up, and as to the tree that he cut, he cut the trunk as instructed, so that it could be burned in my fireplace. All in all, a very pleasant experience.

I was very satisfied with Smith Tree Services. After responding to my job on thumbtack, he and his wife came out to my house the very next day to give me a quote. I thought the price was fair. They were able to start the work that very day! They cut down a huge patch of azaleas and returned the next day with bobcat and pulled up tons of azalea roots. I was expecting to have giant holes in my yard, but he back-filled the holes and leveled out the ground (to the best of his ability) without me even asking. He also picked up all of the debris and limbs and brought them too burn pile, which he then burned for me. Overall, I was very satisfied with their quality of work and price point. Will certainly hire again.
