Introduction

I am dedicated to each child and family that I work with. I believe in teaching children, not subject matter. With that being said, I individualize instruction depending on what he/she needs. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $25.00 an hour, if the family will meet me at a local place, such as a library. I believe that students work better away from their home. If I have to travel more than 15 miles, I may feel the need to charge a traveling expense.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly working with, reading and researching educational trends, data, and philosophies.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I stopped teaching 3 years ago, to start my own business. Then, I began substitute teaching to stay abreast of educational trends. I truly miss working with children, so I started tutoring. It has been so rewarding!!
