I have 3+ years of experience providing wedding, event, and special occasion makeup as well as the everyday makeup. Even though i worked as a freelancer, I decided to start up my own company last year. My services stand out because I offer HD makeup applications, competitive prices, excellent customer service, and a great working attitude. I take great pride in my work. Kuinesha is extremely professional and puts her clients first. For my wedding she did my mothers makeup, my sisters makeup and my makeup. We all loved our look. The added value was that the day of my Wedding, my hairdresser never showed up. I didn't know what to do so I asked Kuinesha if she could help with my hair! She kindly accepted and helped saved my wedding day! It was a last minute request and she stepped up to the challenge.

This makeup artist is literally the best bang for buck in Houston and MORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! She met with me 3 times to get my look right for my wedding (one way my bridal shoot)- she takes her time, will stay as long as you want, will try out different things, she's very accomodating, flexible, a pure sweetheart and completely at your service. She is literally CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SLAYAGE in one package. I wish I could post pics of my wedding party! Our them was Goddess and people were amazed and impressed at not only me but my bridesmaids coming down the isle. Without telling anyone our theme- they were like you all look like goddesses from heaven! :-) Thank you LaLeurre! Ps. Kuinesha is one of those weird artists who barely wears makeup but dresses others up all day long. Don't be caught off guard if a jean/t-shirt girl walks through your door instead of a Diva. She commits herself to making others divas and pulls the flyest tricks out of the bag when she dresses up on occasion herself. She also did a tutorial "How to Slay" for me and my bridal party and friends at my bachelorette party! Again she's just so much time and every time I've tipped her more than the price because she is one of the most economical in Houston and literally also one of the best and most professional (I went to 5 other artists in Houston who charged way more).

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always ask the customer if they have a certain look that they want, what are their color schemes, and do they want it bold or soft and natural. I also ask if their skin is oily or dry, is it sensitive, and do certain makeup breaks them out.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed makeup artist in the state of Texas. I have been in the makeup industry for three years in which i have obtained my license within that time frame.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started wearing it in high school and it gradually increased to my passion. A face is my canvas and I love seeing looks that I can create on a person.
