Introduction: I love my job! It's great getting out and meeting people and there always seems to be a challenge! It's the "oh there's a concrete wall back there..." or "how high do you want it?" moments that make this a fun line of work!

Highly recommended. Very much a guy I trust, have used and seen in action. A true professional and man of integrity. I cannot say enough about his work. Very refreshing to work with someone who actually goes above and beyond. If you need any computer service, questions answered, contact Derek at www.911techguys.com. He serves Louisiana and Mississippi.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was a manager for a store in a major electronics chain for 10 years in Mandeville, La. We were always the place to come in and ask questions and get answers, pick up parts, and get advice in all things electronic. I learned quite a lot and picked up valuable training and certification from that store, especially in Home theater and computer repair.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

TV "hang and bang" jobs are quite common. That's the funny term used for TV installations, usually wall mounted sometimes wire concealment is involved. Quick jobs that usually can be done in a few hours.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask your installer about other work he or she has done and get references! Word of mouth is such an important tool in my business. Be sure the installer is background checked, drug tested and carries a minimum $1 million dollar liability insurance protection covering incidents, just in case. Its also good to ask about certification and training. There are some excellent associations that teach installers latest and newest trends in our industry.
