Introduction: I'm a professional photographer and a native of Louisiana. I offer photography services such as Seniors, Engagement, Weddings and Bridals servicing all of Southeast Louisiana. I also love shooting where I live, beautiful St. Francisville at the various plantations, gardens and Tunica Hills areas. One thing that sets me apart from other photographers is that I love shooting details... the cake, decorations, bouquets, etc. The things yo work so hard to get perfect then afterwards may possibly forget how beautiful it was... I also offer photography services for seniors, families, couples, pets and portraits as well as historical architecture. Please visit my website for more samples.

Engagement Photography

Bonnie was very nice and did a great job on our engagement photos. She also responded very quickly when I inquired.

This was my first time using Mrs. Bonnie and I can tell you she was such a wonderful person to be around. She really has a talent in photography and takes her time to do what she does best. I would recommend her to do your photography any day. Her pictures she prints for you looks so natural and beautiful! If you want some beautiful pictures I would definitely use Mrs. Bonnie Marquette!

I found Bonnie through an internet search for a local photographer. I wanted someone who would come to our home to take a family portrait. We have never had professional family pics taken so it was time. Bonnie showed up on-time, the first time. She didn't call to reschedule or keep putting us off. No one in my family likes their picture taken so I knew it would be a challenge. But, I was pleasantly surprised to find it wasn't. Bonnie was so down-to-earth and easygoing. We all felt totally comfortable and actually enjoyed the experience. She also took several individual pictures of us and I have to say, I was blown away. First time I can remember liking a pic of myself. She showed us how to stand and angle our bodies, how to hold our head so we "I" didn't get that dreaded double chin I always have in pictures. We laughed and had a lot of fun. Not at all what I was expecting. I have given all my friends and family her number!!

One thing I can say about Bonnie is that she knows her craft. She was extremely knowledgable and professional. The photographs that she produced of my cat quite literally took my breath away. Will definitely be using her again!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My base rate is $200/hour while on-site shooting. This includes the actual shooting time, post-processing, editing time and a free 11 x 14 print of my client's choice as well as web sized digital files for the clients personal use. Additional images can be purchased and prints are also available.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My initial contact is either over the phone or via my website where I can find out what the client has in mind for his or her shoot. If on location, I like to scout the facility and find the best lighting, backgrounds and spaces to shoot.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I hold a certificate from the New York Institute of Photography in Professional Photography. I also work in the movie industry as a still photographer, location manager and location scout. I also have a background in magazine publishing, publishing two magazines of my own and was a graphic artist for many years.
