Tommy Creates a Mood! My father-in-law recently passed away - he was 94 years old. There weren't many friends left so we decided to have a private family Memorial Service at our home rather than a larger Funeral Home or Church. I wanted to create a feeling of celebration and family for my father-in-law’s service. Also, having a service that represented his personality was important to my husband and me. So, I decided that we needed to have music at our family memorial service because my husbands' father loved the music of all types - and especially the popular songs from musicals on Broadway. This is where Tommy T. comes in! I contacted Tommy Thibodaux via Thumbtack and he quickly responded. He was very easy to work with - especially with the quick timeline. Tommy allowed us to choose the songs that he would sing and accompany with his guitar. We chose “Amazing Grace” and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. We chose the latter song, because of my father-in-laws love of musicals. Tommy said he would work up a special version of the song for the service. Wow! Was it special! He said he got the idea for his version of the song from the movie 50 First Dates. It was absolutely beautiful - and I will remember it always. Tommy made my husband's father's service very special. We were glad he could be an important part. I would like to highly recommend Tommy Thibodaux - you will be glad he’s a part of your event.
