Event Help and Wait Staff

Susan and Pam were excellent. From the moment they arrived they took over the food set up and began readying the appetizers and bar. During set up our power temporarily went out due to rain and high winds but that did not deter Susan and Pam. They continued working through as if there were no issue. During the power outage our cat escaped from the bedroom and ran through the living room causing some cases to be broken. Susan and Pam immediately stopped what they were doing and jumped in to help clean up and keep the set up on track! During the party they passed hor d'hourves while being sure that all guests had whatever they needed. When it came time for dinner they made sure everything was hot and well presented. We were celebrating my wife's 50th birthday and she could not have been more impressed with Susan and Pam's professionalism and upbeat demeanor. Many of the guests commented on how great of a job they did and 2 different guests wanted their contact information for upcoming parties of their own. From set up to serving to clean up (which was a blessing!) Susan and Pam were superb. The party was a success in large part due to the efforts of Susan and Pam and I will definitely be hiring them again for a future party!!!

Event Help and Wait Staff

Sue helped out with my bridal shower located at a private residence. She was very responsive and we spoke on the phone about what I was looking for. On the day of, she was absolutely fantastic! She helped with set up then proceeded to plate our brunch and serve the dishes. She was continuously bussing our tables and refilling the stations. She helped cleanup afterwards as well. I would hire Sue again in a heartbeat! 10/10 service, professionalism, punctuality, attitude, and attentiveness!

Event Help and Wait Staff

It was a pleasure working with Susan. I also work in the catering business so I was hesitant to hire help. Susan made my personal event so much more enjoyable by taking the initiative to do the things necessary so I was able to enjoy it without worrying about behind the scenes details. I highly recommend Susan and will definitely be using her again.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is competitive. I charge $35/hour, and it's a 4 hour minimum. Me and my staff are very professional, very thorough, friendly, dependable, and experienced. You won't find a better, more experienced or friendly staff anywhere!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My typical process of working with a new customer is I like to talk to the customer on the phone first. I find hashing out the details of their party on the phone is a great way to get to know their preferences, exactly what and who they are looking for, and all of their needs. It gives me a sense of their expectations. I feel like I get to know them a little bit as well and they get to know me, which makes working the party a lot easier. I try to make customers feel completely at ease so they know they can trust and depend on me. And speaking on the phone first (or meeting in person if they'd like) also makes me more comfortable with the client.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have worked at several high end and casual restaurants as a server, a bartender, and a host. I have worked with large catering companies as a bartender and server. I have taken a certified Bartending course as well as a certified wine courses. I have learned the ins and outs of different kinds of wine at the restaurants I worked at. I renew my TIPS certification every 3 years. TIPS certification is the equality of being licensed in Massachuetts. Also currently my day job is working administration at a wine company.
