FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $40 for a half hour lesson and $60 for an hour lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to give a half hour first lesson to potential students so that we can get to know each other. That way, I can see what the student is bringing to the table and the student can see and experience my teaching methods first-hand. I believe that every student-teacher relationship is one of trust and I would not that compromised in any way. That being said, I want my students to be comfortable with me so that they can prosper and flourish under my tutelage.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelors of Music in Music Education and a Masters of Science in Music Education from Nazareth College of Rochester (New York). I am currently pursuing a second masters degree in Historical Performance from Boston University under the direction of Aaron Sheehan. I recently sang in Napa, CA as a member of the Napa Music Festival, performing solos in a variety of recitals, concerts, a masterclass with Julianna Gondek, and as Oberto in Handel's Alcina.
