Derek did everything right. He's very personable and easy to work with, and he and his helper did a really nice job on the stucco. And the cleanup afterward - I don't think I've ever had a contractor who was so conscientious about cleaning up! Hope I need some more masonry work done sometime, so I can call on Derek again. :)
