We understand animals... We understand the people who love their animals. We understand that people learn by example, and we always opt to set a fine example. We don't believe in gadgets, we don't believe in "trends"... we believe that animals communicate the same way today as they did 100 years ago. We believe that teaching people how to understand their animals and communicate with them is the simplest answer to training. Our ability to understand the animal also helps us take amazing care of them when you are away. From a training perspective, we like the fact that a household with a pet can be transformed into a home with a loving companion animal. From a pet sitting perspective, we are happy that the pets are as comfortable with us as they are with their owners.

While we have only had two sessions of training we have learned a lot so far. I expect to learn a lot more. It's more about training us, the owners, rather than our dog and Lori does an excellent job working with us and showing us how our nervousness extends to our dog. She emphasizes calm control. We appreciated that she brought her own two dogs to help with the training. It was remarkable that our dog, who usually is very reactive on a leash, remained calm and friendly in Lori's hands. She is a great trainer!

Lori has been working helping us with basic training with our 2 Bernese dogs (female, 4yr and male, 2yr) and we have learned how to use the training to manage dog aggression with our male. Lori is very flexible, always on time and came to our house for the training and she also met us at the park so she could evaluate our male around other dogs.

We are very pleased with the progress Lori has been able to make with our 6 year old Boston Terrier. Our issue was with excitement when guests arrived to the house. We started to see improvement even after Lori's first visit to the house.

We attend clinics when they come up, but the real world is the truest clinic there is...
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up with Germand Shepherds that my mother had trained. Back in "the day" trainers were harsh, and when one hit my mother's dog in the face, she refused to use such trainers again and did it all on her own. My daughter has followed my lead, but she opts to maintain the pet sitting portion.
