Introduction: Private guitar lessons with award winning producer, guitarist, songwriter, and private instructor, Michael Dinallo. As a producer, guitarist, and one half of The Tremolo Twins, Michael Dinallo has made records on Soul Legend Eddie Floyd ("Eddie Loves You So" which was Eddie's return to the revitalized Stax Records), Norwegian pop artist William Hut ("Nightfall" on Universal Records which yielded the Number One Hit "Take It Easy" and earned both the Gold and Platinum Awards), and has landed many records into various Top Ten of the Year Lists among them Alastair Moock's "Let It Go", The Mercy Brothers, and The Radio Kings. Other artists Michael currently works with or has worked with included Dennis Brennan, Jerry Portnoy, Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish, Stan Martin, Kevin Connolly, and Juliet and the Lonesome Romeos among others. Michael relocated to Boston, Massachusetts in 1985 to study guitar and arranging at Berklee College of Music. After two years of study there, Michael left Berklee to study with blues guitar virtuoso Ronnie Earl. Introduced by Ronnie to the storied local and national blues scene in Boston, Michael formed the Radio Kings with Brian Templeton in 1991 and since then has left his musical stamp all over the world leading various bands and producing hit records. Steve Morse of the Boston Globe called Michael, “…one of the key figures (of the Boston scene.)” Michael has become known as the man behind the artist: “Thanks to Michael Dinallo’s dynamic production...the sound [Alastair Moock’s 'Let it Go'] is shot through with rugged clarity” wrote Dan Gewertz in the Boston Herald and “Dinallo is that rare self-effacing guitarist who eschews the spotlight” said Bill Dahl in Living Blues Magazine. Michael works with the artists he produces to help them fully realize their vision whether that is Scandinavian country-pop or low down American roots music. With a philosophy that you do what the song calls for, Michael emphasizes melody and groove. All this is done with important attention to the sonic depth of the recording. Michael provides a deep, striking mood that is individual to each artist. This deceptively simple and relaxed approach to recording allows the artists, whether singer or instrumentalist, to soar. Loudon Temple said this in Maverick Magazine regarding the William Hut record 'Days To Remember', “Dinallo brings some classy touches to the production room…. beautifully soulful…. guitar in hand, the producer’s experience as main man with the Radio Kings, finds him in such groovy fettle that he hits B.B. King highs.” "Dinallo has a reputation as a player and producer who knows how to sublinate his ego in service to the material, and doesn't let habit get in the way when looking for the right sound.....(He) works up a steady soul sweat. It's his vision of rock and roll heaven - with brown Fender amps." -Rick Allen, Vintage Guitar July 2010 “Pop music has a history of great production teams..........Now Boston has a new duo vying for honors: Michael Dinallo and Ducky Carlisle. With their penchant for dialing in the right vibe for any type of roots music — blues, country, R&B, folk, primal rock — they could call themselves the Rust Brothers if they weren’t already known as the Tremolo Twins. And their moniker can be found on one of the year’s hottest R&B comebacks, Eddie Floyd’s new Eddie Loves You So on the revived Stax label.” -Ted Drozdowski, Boston Phoenix
