Introduction: I offer world class training to all who are ready to work on their craft. I mold my lessons to fit what each individual student needs at that point in her development. There is always space to experiment, make lots of mistakes, and try something completely new in my studio. I obtained my Master of Music degree from the Longy School of Music of Bard College, where I studied with accomplished pedagogue, Carol Mastrodomenico. My teaching values revolve around creating and nurturing a healthy, efficient singing technique while inspiring an honest emotional expressiveness in performance. Specializing in classical and musical theater styles, I have helped my students succeed in auditioning for local productions, competitions, and collegiate music programs. My students can be seen on stage singing lead roles in school and community productions. All lessons are currently conducted via Zoom for the safety of the students, their families, and myself. I love watching a student discover his or her voice as the learning process develops. It is so rewarding to help them reach that point when they feel connected to their most honest and easy artistic expression. It's so meaningful to give my students the tools to sing freely and sincerely.

Hannah is AMAZING!!! I have been working with her for over 3 years. She brought me from a guitarist terrified of singing to a confident singer that now impresses my friends and fellow musicians. I couldn’t be happier with my progress and I know I’ve barely scratched the surface of what Hannah can teach! And if that weren’t enough, she is a pleasure to work with. She is fun, unbelievably patient, and very creative in finding novel ways to explain concepts so you understand. She is also a complete professional - in 3.5 years of weekly lessons, I don’t think she ever cancelled our lesson without multiple weeks notice, and that was only once or twice. If you happen to find this review, reach out to Hannah, you won’t regret it!

Hannah is without a doubt an AMAZING vocal teacher. In the few years I have been taking lessons with her, my voice has grown immensely in both musical theatre and classical music! Her techniques are incredibly helpful. Hannah also helped me with my college audition process. I am very thankful for everything she has done for me, and I highly recommend her as a vocal teacher!

Ms. Meloy has been a musical colleague of mine for 6 years. During this time, I have witnessed her sincere commitment and investment in her students. She is a knowledgeable, honest, and encouraging vocal instructor, as well as an accomplished musician and performer. When someone reaches out to me with questions about voice lessons, Hannah is always the first name I give out. I highly recommend her services!

I have been a student of Hannah’s now for over a year. In this time she has not only helped me gain confidence in my ability and understanding of my own voice, but is able to do so using tools and techniques based on a concrete understanding of how the voice and body work together. I’m looking forward to the work and progress that another year will bring.
