Introduction: Peter Simmons is a science educator and film-maker. He teaches classes in STEM ( Science-Technology-Engineering-Math) in New England. As an educator he works with children and adults. He has taught at the Ashby, Ma. Elementary School, The Spaulding Elementary School, Concord Academy and North Andover High School. He teaches film-making classes after school throughout New England. Your party will be fun and entertaining while inspiring the children about sciece. What a great combination. I enjoy working with children and seeing their faces ( and minds ) light up when they discover that their favorite toy or movie involves science, math , technology, art and engineering. The kids seem to love what I am doing and I am totally inspired by them.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take courses in art and science and study the literature. It is a facinating world out there!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in LA and would visit the studios to see family and friends work in the film industry. I fell in love with the magic! I started teaching high-school and that went very well. When I started working with elementary school kids it was like magic. They LOVE STEM!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I work with kids at the schools in after school programs and I run private parties. I just ran a STEM party at a roller skating rink for 130 fourth graders. It was like magic!
