Thumbtack only lets me select three things to rave about for Ben, so let me note first that throughout the project, he was responsive, thorough, provided great value, was an excellent communicator, reasonable in assessing options and best path financially, and just terrific all around. He brought his own equipment and talked me through how the leveling would work, and I’m thrilled with the end result. This project was a mix of hiring and DIY, and I feel well prepared and educated to handle the next phases thanks to his forthright and educational approach. Ben is terrific, and SO knowledgeable about everything ecological, including and especially water diverting strategies around architecture and landscape design. He seems to see how everything on a plot of land works and fits together in the way the a composer can see a symphony, and it’s remarkable to me.
