Yvonne and her husband did an amazing job finishing some custom truck camper boxes for me. First, she took on a project that’s unlike others she typically works on. Next, she paid incredible attention to not just the look, but how the boxes will fit together and open and close, taking care to use just enough paint that it didn't affect the already precise fit. And she put an extraordinary amount of effort into choosing the right paint and making the boxes look amazing with an elegant and durable finish. From the start, I had the confidence that I left these boxes in the right hands and her frequent communication during the process and final product confirmed that choosing Yvonne for this special project was the right decision. Hands down, I would entrust her with more woodworking projects whether they be fine furniture or more special projects like this one was. The care taken with this project exceeded my expectations and she followed up to make sure that everything went well after I took delivery of them.

My experience with Yvonne, the proprietor of Vintage Home & Design Studio, was amazing. I purchased a fantastic cabinet/bookcase from her. It was advertised online, and I drove from Rhode Island to pick it up from her "studio." Well, the studio turned out to be a magical wonderland of one-of-a-kind treasures! There was an antique armoire with curtained glass doors; inside it was a bar - what a chic way to entertain guests! I fell in love with a luscious red lacquered Chinoiserie stand- it had to be eight feet tall; the previous owner had it strung with lights.I was besotted with the entirety of the showroom layout, a mashup of historical drama and whimsy. There was an elaborate piece of wrought iron scrollwork, probably the size of a king sized bed, which served as a backdrop for a weathered bench and a dainty table just large enough to host afternoon tea. The setting sat atop a carpet of artificial grass. Think Alice in Wonderland meets Newport Mansion. I salivated over a modern mid century cabinet that, alas, was not for sale; Yvonne was refinishing it for a client.This review was supposed to be about the gigantic red and black bookcase I was lucky to score. The piece works just as well in my modest 1720 farmhouse as it did when it was surrounded by French antiques in her showroom. This speaks to Yvonne's eye for pieces that are versatile and unique. When you visit, be prepared for a thousand Instagram moments! Thanks, Yvonne, for my beloved bookcase and a wonderful afternoon experience!

Yvonne is amazing! She did such awesome work on all of our dining room furniture! We are actually going back to get more to add to our new house! She has everything you could think of.Do not let the outside warehouse look fool you! Inside the building is such great pieces of furniture that she will custom design to your taste and liking. Both her and her husband were kind and sweet, helped us load up everything and took their time to explain what was done to each individual piece. Additionally, she was in contact every step of the way giving updates on these works of art Until they were completed. If you are looking for something of any style modern, unique, antique, vintage etc. look no further than Vintage Home and Design Studio! This place is a hidden gem!Thank you for everything Yvonne cannot wait to get more items from you!
