Being naturally a perfectionist lol, I make every step in my makeup applications to the very best to what the client expects and deserves. I am constantly trying and learning new techniques so that my work is like no others. I use only high quality makeup products which makes the clients makeup speak for itself. Meeting new people and seeing their faces when they look in the mirror! Nothing makes me happier than when a client is happy :)

Adam Camacho, a great talented makeup artist! I got married in Boston and I am from Montreal. I had absolutely no recommendation from friends for makeup. So I went on my own and dived into the search. I found him online and I liked his work through his picture compared to all the other makeup artist that think they put makeup but it barely shows they have anything on. I did with him the trial in November. Adam is a good listener, he really listens to what u want and applies it. The trial took more than an hour because Adam was taking his time and was very accurate to get the results I wanted. He did a full makeup in the trial which I really appreciated because some artist just do one eye or partial makeup but Adam cared enough to do a full makeup to give me a real feeling about my makeup on the wedding day. He uses very high quality makeup and brushes. He was responsible of doing my whole bridal party the day of the wedding (1 maid of honor, 5 bridesmaids, 1 flower girl, mother of the bride and mother of the groom). Him and his assistant showed up 15 minutes before their time knocking at the door of the hotel room. They were extremely efficient arriving at 8:30 and finishing around 1pm. The makeup of the bridesmaids was amazing, it matches with their mulberry purple dress with a perfect shape of smokey eye. Their makeup lasted through the whole night and through their tears as well. The mothers didn't want much makeup, and he really respected that. He made a perfect makeup that showed but at the same time simple and classy. When I arrived from the hair salon, Adam started my makeup right away. And I cannot tell how of an amazing job he did. He did a 99% similar job if not better than the trial. But unlike other artists (hair or makeup) who invent u a new look the morning of ur wedding, he had everything noted down, each single color we used on the trial, he had it written. He was very professional throughout the preparation time. He had a contract with all the details and the pricing. The pricing compared to other makeup artists was average. Compared to the others I shopped for, he wasn't too expensive. Should I say the minimum decent price for a good quality makeup artist. To top it off, Adam has a great calm attitude, it was great to have him around the morning of the wedding. He was not stressing at all. He was actually a great calming source because of his patience and his peaceful attitude. I would definitely recommend Adam for anyone who likes outstanding classy makeup and for someone who is looking for a makeup artist who knows how to shape the eye and get the best out of it.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I believe constantly improving yourself in any professional area of work is crucial, especially in beauty. This allows the artist to have a good understanding of the latest trends and techniques available to provide optimum service to their clients. I am currently a member of the Powder Group and have my next workshop in Philadelphia with celebrity makeup artist Jordan Liberty and then in Provincetown, MA for the Artist Summit.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always had a passion for makeup artistry and fashion since a young boy. I loved applying makeup to my friends and relatives and when I knew I was pretty good at it, I decided to pursue it as a full time career.
