- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For job work I like to price for the entire deliverable rather than by the hour - this sets up clearer expectations for both of us. If Thumbtack forces us to communicate hourly or daily rates, please rest assured we can work something out.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I recommend a 15 minute introduction call where we can speak about the details of what's needed and I can ask some questions. Out of that we can usually come up with a proposal and a project plan/timeline. Depending on the work, a follow-up check-in call (or a few) can be helpful.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a technologist for 25+ years, starting with graphic design, moving in to online user experience and then into full-fledges websites and application development. I've designed thousands of logos, hundreds of pitchdecks and websites, and designed/built/deployed SaaS-based products and applications used by hundreds of thousands of users, many with and incorporating AI.
