He was an amazing officiant, he was available for my wedding which was only 3 weeks notice.
He was on time very professional spoke very clearly kept in communication with me regarding what I wanted to be said during the ceremony and provided an rough draft before sending a final one . I would highly suggest him to anyone !

When we began planning our elopement less than a month before the date, we had no idea what we needed to do. We found Cosmo's profile on Thumbtack and thought he had all the qualities we were looking for in a JP...plus, he was available for our "noontime on a Wednesday" ceremony request.
Cosmo was professional and personable in all of our interactions. He responded to emails quickly and answered all of our questions confidently. We quickly knew that we could trust him to take care of his duties fully. He set up a zoom call ahead of time so that we could get on the same page. He was also in touch with us as-needed leading up to the wedding day so that we never doubted that he would get the job done.
On the day of the service, he arrived early and was completely prepared. Best of all, he officiated the ceremony with a clear voice, at the perfect volume for the venue, and with a good sense of the pace and energy that each portion of his role needed. Cosmo's officiating allowed us to let go of our worries and just enjoy our wedding.
Afterwards, he quickly and fully completed his duties to make sure our marriage license was safely delivered to city hall. On top of everything, his fee was reasonable! We couldn't have asked for anything more.

We used Cosmo for our very small/intimate 'Covid-19' wedding (no guests- socially distant- recorded for family/friends) over New Years Eve and he was just fantastic! Cosmo was very quickly responsive to my original inquiry for a JP and got to know my husband and I via Zoom and through email prior to the ceremony. He made the process very smooth and special - his classic vows that we asked for were really perfect. All in all, we could not be happier with using Cosmo for our special day even in these strange times of Covid. We felt very taken care of by him and would recommend him highly to others. Mr. Macero honestly saved the day! My son-in-law’s Mom thought everything was all set until the Pastor had an unexpected family tragedy. They shared the news and they needed help! I quickly searched for JP’s in our area and Cosmo was the man! He called me within 7 minutes, listened to my story and he had an earlier commitment, but COSMO DID IT! Typical fee ranges between $185 and $265.
The most common fee is $235 - based on the standard MA fee for JPs officiating a marriage, plus additional charges for custom-prepared ceremonies.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have an initial consultation by phone or Zoom meeting, and then discuss your needs and preferences for a ceremony. Creating the perfect words for your wedding - and delivering them in an impactful way - is my specialty. No surprises!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a former full-time journalist and long-time media and strategic communications consultant, as well as a feature writer and content creator. I was appointed by the Massachusetts Governor and Governor's Council as a Justice of the Peace in 2017.
