I am delighted I found Richie of RMC Renovations. He showed up on time and quoted me a fair price on the spot. I had asked him to come out to fix a front stair rebuild that had gone horribly wrong with another builder. The other builder was not working in his wheel house it became clear and he left my stair project with many unresolved issues and just plain bad carpentry. I was so grateful when Richie quietly and calmly went about putting everything as right as he could get it. He really did do an amazing job in a situation where he started off with someone else’s poor work. Now our stairs are not only sturdy but good looking to boot!!!! Richie is talented, hard-working and honest. I can’t wait to hire him again.

I contacted Ritchie from Rmc Renovations to build a TV wall unit for me. I sketched a picture with how I wanted the unit to look, including dimensions. While he was building it he periodically updated me on the project and even sent pictures to show me how it was looking. When he delivered the TV unit, it exceeded my expectations!!! It looked amazing. Ritchie had primed it for me and within a week I had painted it and brought it in my house. Everything looked great but the doors wouldn't align properly. I called Ritchie and, without any hesitation, he came back and adjusted the doors until they were perfect. Ritchie is a complete craftsman who takes pride in his work and is not satisfied until you are. I would use him again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend him to anyone

Richie did a fantastic job and came out in a pinch and repaired a hole in my ceiling. I was so impressed that I hired him to install a custom closet in a bedroom. He was very neat and offered great suggestions on how to best handle my carpenter project. He was very reasonable on the price As well!

I don’t always write reviews but we had such a phenomenal experience with Richard and the quality of his work, I couldn’t help but write a little something about our experience. We needed an external access door for the basement replaced and, off the bat, Richard was very responsive and we immediately felt a sense of trust with him. He was super patient with my
many questions which I really appreciated. He also went out of his way to get a quote for a custom door from his supplier to give us an option. Because of the non-standard size of the door, he ended up custom building/designing the door and also the trim. His actual quote was very competitive and he was able to go out onsite on a Sunday to make sure he was able evaluate the project in person so there were no surprises for both of us. Above all, the quality of the door and trim that he custom designed and built for us exceeded our expectations. He went above and beyond and we couldn’t have been more lucky and pleased. We are hiring him again to replace some windows and support posts. If you’re looking for a carpenter, we highly recommend Richard!

At 18 i completed a carpentry course and received an advanced certification in the trade. Since then i have taken different OSHA classes, classes on multiple types of construction materials, a deleading class, scissor and boom lift classes, and i have my UNRESTRICTED CSL.
