About this pro
If four years in an intense fine art photography curriculum has taught me anything, it's that I need to shoot with intention. I go into each shoot knowing what sort of story I'm going to tell. I'm very low-stress and adapt to changing situations extremely well. I love working with people. I like feeling appreciated, and helping people out. It's also a great balance between being social (behind the camera) and being alone (behind the computer).
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I loved photographing my friends skateboarding in my early teens. My grandmother is a photographer, and become an invaluable connection to my success in the industry.
- What types of customers have you worked with?My most frequent jobs are fundraising dinners for private clients, nonprofits, and corporations as well as working alongside a local catering company.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?My second time working with this record label, I photographed two full days of recording at a renowned recording studio in New York last month. I got to meet some big-name jazz artists, and also work with many local Boston artists.
