Introduction: Natalia is a professional vocalist and singer/songwriter. She is a private vocal instructor and teaches in all genres of music for the voice. Natalia was trained classically with Opera Naples and the Naples Philharmonic and has experience in performing in the musical theater, pop, Latin, R&B, and jazz idioms. She is a recent graduate of Berklee College of Music and majored in vocal performance.
A list of Natalia Muniz's recent performances include Grammy Award winner Paula Cole's Singer/Songwriter Showcase and Alive in the World Concert, Eden Autism Services Benefit, opening for Beth Nielsen Chapman and Rodney Crowell.
The voice lessons are catered to each student's individual needs and goals, including tone quality, breath support, vocal technique, diction, phrasing, interpretation, and repertoire. Whether the student is a beginner or a seasoned singer, he or she will have the tools necessary to improve and grow as a vocalist.
Natalia also teaches private Spanish and French language lessons.
Natalia Muniz comes from the Dominican Republic and has experience in teaching Spanish lovers the vocabulary and grammar of the language. She also lived in Nice, France, for six months, taking and passing the DALF C1 exam, Diplome Approfondi de Langue Francaise (Diploma in Advanced French), administered by France's Centre International d'Etudes Pedagogiques (France's International Center of Pedagogical Studies).
The students would improve upon their language according to their level through reading assignments, grammar and vocabulary exercises, and assigned films and documentaries about culture and society in Latin America and Francophone countries.
