I’m so happy to have found Doug on Thumbtack! He’s been incredibly easy to work with. I especially appreciate how professional and communicative he is. I always know exactly when Doug will be at my house and what the status of my projects are. He was even nice enough to talk me through an issue I was having during a DIY plumbing project when he called to update me about parts he had ordered for my bathroom. Doug was able to install a new tub/shower combo and toilet in my century home despite there being issues with some of the work done by the previous owners. I already have him scheduled to come back and install a new sink for me and will definitely use him again in the future.

Two showers had pressure problems. Doug got the parts immediately and would have installed them right then but, and this is the real story, the shut-off valve was in another unit thus inaccessible. It took some delicate negotiations to gain access and Doug was super-helpful and understanding about this, even to the point of coming on a Saturday to appease the uncooperative owner. A great job, showers are fine now. Many thanks Doug.
