We are very pleased to share our experience with Ramos Construction on Thumbtack. We live in a historic home south of Boston. It was built in 1862 and it is a three-story clapboard Victorian Italianate house. When the time came to paint the exterior of our house, we interviewed four companies. Unfortunately, we were not happy with estimates, nor the scheduling of the job which was contingent and dependent upon the availability of the companies to do the work. Like most people who choose to live in historic homes, we prefer to maintain and preserve the historic integrity and personality of our home. Therefore, we continued our search for the perfect match until, by word of mouth, we came to meet Ramos Construction. We arranged to meet Maisa at our home. She graciously worked around our schedules. We shared with her what we wanted to do, and a few days later, she emailed us an honest estimate for the work, and we hired Ramos Construction the next day. Ramos Construction also did some carpentry work for us which included replacing degraded clapboard and re-building and painting certain historic wooden embellishments on the house. They also helped to repair a couple of unexpected electrical problems which we discovered while they were on site. The crew who worked on site were always hardworking, considerate, polite, and very respectful of our home and property. While the guys were onsite, we also would leave the basement door open so that they could access the washroom at their convenience. Ramos Construction is a stellar company of good honest people, and Maisa is a gem- truly exceptional! This company truly cares about the work they do, and they genuinely want the client to appreciate and value their work. We appreciate and value good work, and to be clear, Ramos Construction did a superb job. When we are ready to do more renovations or painting projects, we are so happy to know that all we have to do is call Maisa.
