Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have 15 years of experience teaching students of all skill levels, from adults and college students to young children just starting out in their musical journey. My voice students have won and placed in national competitions such as the National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS), Classical Singer Competition and the Hal Leonard Vocal Competition. Voice students are taught a classical approach and develop a solid and healthy technique. Piano and violin students will learn a traditional technique with some elements of the Suzuki method. Yearly recitals are offered for performance opportunities. I enjoy teaching all ages and skill levels, from those at the beginning stages of their musical development, to young singers who wish to pursue a career in music, to adults who wish to incorporate music-making back into their life. I am eager to help other budding musicians find their own unique path and enhance their lives through the joys of music.

Megan made a tremendous impact on my daughter's life! She not only improved her voice, singing posture and musical range, but also improved her confidence and enjoyment of music. She became more than a voice teacher, but a personal friend to our family with her warm smile and genuine personality. Anyone that has an opportunity to work with Megan is extremely lucky! As a student of Megan's, I was always excited to be there! To learn something new everyday. My voice got SO much better in the time I was with her and eventually she became my friend! I loved everything about her studio and she was so fun to work with. My voice, confidence, and life improved so much because of Megan and I know your's will too!

Megan Roth is, among many other things, a warm and endlessly patient music teacher who skillfully guides her students to progress in technique -- even correcting and erasing bad habits -- while instilling confidence and keeping the joy in the music-making.

Megan is a fantastic teacher; she is knowledgeable, thoughtful, and caring. My lessons with her were always one of the best parts of my week. She helped turn a fun hobby into a true passion for me as she worked with me to develop my skills as a musician, and I learned so much about music, singing, and life along the way. She cares so much about her students and works incredibly hard to ensure that they learn a lot but also have fun doing what they love. I would highly recommend her to anyone searching for a voice, violin, or piano teacher, because she is certainly among the best!

When I first started taking voice lessons with Megan Roth, I didn't have the confidence or even the desire to sing on my own. Megan is an incredible voice teacher, and her infinite patience and love of music inspired me to love singing and music in general more than anything else. Megan was always nurturing and encouraging, but she also taught me how to be disciplined and efficient in my music practice. With her guidance, my technique improved immensely. Thank you for everything Megan!

Megan Roth is a fantastic, dedicated, talented performer and loving and sensitive teacher and mentor. She taught my daughter piano and voice for years, helping her to love and excel in music. At the same time, my daughter looked forward to her weekly lessons as a special time with a near family member. We highly recommend her!

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

All introductory lessons are $75 for 60 minutes. Thereafter, my studio runs on a trimester schedule. Details are the following: Studio Rates: 45-Minute Weekly Lesson Package = Four monthly tuition payments of $217 (or one payment of $868) 60-Minute Weekly Lesson Package = Four monthly tuition payments of $269 (or one payment of $1076) Tuition Includes: • Fourteen one-on-one lessons tailored to meet the student’s individual needs • A weekly lesson time reserved for the student • Studio Recital (1 per academic year) • 1 rescheduled lesson (if needed) to be scheduled before the end of the term • Teacher planning and preparation including technical research and repertoire selection • College and career counseling; audition preparation; recommendation letters

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I encourage all students to sign up for an introductory lesson. Individual lessons are as much about connecting personally as they are about gaining knowledge and skill set from another. In the introductory lesson, I will guide you through a series of exercises and warmups to assess your current level and technical abilities. Your goals and aspirations will then be discussed so that I can best assist you in strategies to meet those goals. There is no obligation to sign up for more lessons. If the studio feels like a good fit and you want to continue lessons, we can open a dialogue about starting a trimester package.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Bachelor of Music with honors- DePaul University, 2001 Master of Music- Florida State University, 2004 Artist Certificate in Opera- Florida State University, 2006 I began my musical journey at age 5, taking piano lessons from my mother. In elementary school I chose to begin violin, which I continued through college. My Bachelor of Music degree was in violin performance, though I was singing simultaneously. I ultimately decided to pursue singing for my professional career and I continue to play violin and piano as I greatly enjoy teaching all three instruments.
