My work stands out for a couple of reasons. Unlike a lot of other magicians, I don't use big, flashy props. I entertain using ordinary looking objects and my 20+ years of sleight of hand practice. I feel like this enhances the experience because the audience can understand and relate to what is happening on stage. Also, my show has a very small footprint (usually I only need room for a small table and myself) so I can perform almost anywhere! My favorite thing about my job is being able to show people something they've never seen before. Or, even better, being able to show them something that they see everyday in a whole new way. I get to demonstrate that given the right point of view, there's wonder all around us.

Eric did a phenomenal job as the magician for our daughter's fifth birthday party! His show was right on their level and he captivated their attention from start to finish. His magic tricks got many laughs from the kids and they were all eager to participate! Thanks to Eric, our daughter and her friends all had a great celebration! He was even willing to perform outside, which made me one happy mom!

I hired Eric to perform for after school event for about 75 children. It was an excellent magic performance. Eric got all the kids involved and was very outgoing, friendly and had an excellent variety of routines. The performance was very kid-friendly, very vocal and funny for both, kids and adults. All the kids loved it (Pre-K to 5th grade).

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been studying magic ever since I was 12 years old. I also have a degree in psychology which comes in handy with magic.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I've performed for a wide variety of audiences from comedy clubs to family gatherings. I have shows appropriate for sophisticated adult audiences, and for audiences with a mix of kids and adults.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Communication is very important. Give the performer as many details as you can about the event and who the audience will be. Also check reviews from past clients. Those are probably the best way to tell if a performer is right for you.
