FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $100 flat rate or for the first hour on the job and $60 per hour for additional hours on the job. So if I am hired to hang a mirror and it only takes twenty minutes, that project will cost $100. Typically I am hired to install 5-10 pieces and the job takes roughly 90 minutes to two hours. In that case I quote $130-$160 for a job like that. Additionally for any client who schedules a job and cancels without the intention to reschedule is charged a $50 cancellation fee.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to see photos of the items which are being installed prior to arriving on the job. This helps me prepare for a job prior to arrival. Once I arrive, I like to do a walkthrough and mark the walls with tape for heights of the pieces indicating where they will be hung.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor in Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art and Design and I have completed all the onboarding training with Crozier Fine Arts. I have also worked for Maquette Fine Art Services, Montserrat College of Art galleries and The Frame Gallery in Brookline all of which involving professional on-site art install training.
