Jason O’Connell

I’ve been working in construction for the last 25 years, the first 20 at MIT for a GC and then as a maintenance mechanic directly for the school. The last 5 years I’ve worked for myself as a handyman. I am a meticulous painter and feel There isn’t a hole in or damage to drywall that I can’t make look new again. Over the years I’ve installed a lot of doors & hardware in existing frames and new ones along with door repairs to make sure they function properly. I’ve done jobs that have tackled drop ceiling & acoustic tile replacement, framing & drywall, skim coating, tile installation & repair, grouting and caulking tub & shower areas to prevent water damage, finish carpentry, built in cabs, demolition, the basics of electrical, plumbing & masonary. I feel it is important to walk out of a space in the same condition in which you entered so I have zipwall and other methods for dust control and prevention. I have a power washer for people that might need there decks or siding on there homes washed. I’ve been assembling furniture for as long as I can remember for my parents and myself.
