Would give 6 stars if I could.
(TLDR: incredibly professional, amazing work quality and mind blowing value from my recent experience…. Lengthy details below:))
My family and needed to paint 2 rooms in one of our properties. The place has not been painted in a looong time and there was also some very noticeable smoke damage in both rooms from a “cooking experience gone very wrong.”
In short the place needed new paint!
We were working with a fairly tight budget (but didn’t want to completely sacrifice quality and get someone from Craigslist to do it for “cheap” and have the place look worse than before.
After contacting a few well reviewed painters and contractors (and getting a sense of what things can cost on the high and the low end and all the variables that contribute to the costs - a topic I knew nothing about), I found Rick ( the owner and the head painter) to be very easy to communicate with and reasonable in his offer.
He gave us a really good price (and we did compare with a few other we’ll reccomended folks, but his offer a bit better and I got a good vibe from him when he came in to look at the place- he also educated me a lot about all the things that I never thought about or considered when it comes to the world of residential painting).
We were also in a pretty time sensitive spot and needed the paint job to be done “like yesterday” and Rick fit us into his schedule almost immediately.
He and his assistant arrived at 8 am and were done by 5 pm. Wow! I couldn’t believe how the place looked compared to what it looked like 24 hours prior! He also (without us asking to include in the the scope of the job- because frankly we couldn’t afford to do everything that we wanted or needed to have painted) painted a bunch of the doors, parts of ceilings and trim. I was floored by his generosity.
Like I said, I am about as far from an expert on painting as have probably ever existed (although i now know a bit more than I did before this process), but our family is thrilled to have found Rick / RT Northeastern Painting.
If you are looking for someone who will offer great value, while delivering and surpassing the agreed upon quality and scope of job I have to say you have to at least talk to Rick. I don’t know if he will be your guy, but he is definitely our new guy for all future painting related needs!

Rick and his crew were very friendly, polite and professional . These guys did an amazing job repainting the bathroom which had tons of peeling and cracking paint. I would highly recommend him and will use him for any future paint jobs we do . Cant wait to see how it holds up when we can start using the shower again .

Rick responded promptly, gave me a reasonable estimate same day, and was able to meet my time frame. Rick was very organized, and was able to repair several wall issues, sand, prime, and paint them, and do touchups throughout the house in one day. He is very communicative and made sure I was happy with the job. Rick was very respectful 0f my furniture and floors, carefully putting tarps down and covering things. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

I had my kitchen ceiling painted that had been stained by water damage. I can’t say enough good things! Timely response, reasonable pricing, and beautifully done. Neat and clean as well. And job was completed in one day. Highly recommend!

From quoting to the end of the job, this experience was a delight. The paint job itself is impeccable, and despite having a baby on the way there was always clear communication and flexibility. I’m truly grateful for the time spent (beyond the expected time frame) to paint a bedroom with 6 walls, a c shaped hallway with 7 door openings, and the most awkward laundry room with a tilted ceiling on half a wall and a crawl space underneath. Not easy or quick asks. I love the new freshness of the space!
I have 3 more rooms I want painted next year and I will be coming back for the job!!
